Set times for Virgin Mobile FreeFest at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD on Saturday have been announced… M83 are due to pay the West Stage at 7:50, after NAS:

M83 will be playing at this years Virgin Mobile FreeFest held on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md.

The lineup on the Main Stages also includes Jack White, Skrillex, NAS, ZZ Top, Santigold, Alabama Shakes, Ben Folds Five, The Dismemberment Plan, Allen Stone, Trampled by Turtles, Portugal. The Man, Das Racist, Future Islands and Justin Jones.

The Dance Forest will feature Above & Beyond, Porter & Zedd (Back to Back), Thomas Gold, Nervo, Alvin Risk and Penguin Prison, plus others to be announced.

Tickets to the 2012 Virgin Mobile FreeFest will go “On Free” to the public at noon (EDT) Friday, Aug. 24, via ticketfly.com. Fans who choose to follow Virgin Mobile Live on Twitter (@virginmlive) will see a link to participate in the private presale, which will be held Thursday, Aug. 23.

M83 will be playing this years Treasure Island Music Festival in the San Francisco Bay alongside The xx, Girl Talk and more. Tickets are on sale here.

Due to technical difficulties we were not able to play our entire hour long set as we were most looking forward to at Ultra festival. Our deepest apologies to the crowd who waited so patiently while we tried to fix the problems. we hope we will be able to return to Florida and play the full set. It was very sad to us to travel so far and play such a short set.

M83 will take part in Record Store Day on April 21st this year, with a limited edition vinyl 7” featuring the hidden album track Mirror.

The release will be available as part of a very limited run in the US, UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia and the Netherlands. Check out participating locations here.

M83 have added another show to their extensive US tour at the Fox Theatre in Pomona, CA on April 12th. You can get early tickets exclusively at the M83 ticket store here (pre-sale tickets are sold out) before they go on General Sale this Friday!

Big Black Delta will support on the night.

The venue for the M83 show in Atlanta, GA on the 14th May has been moved from the Buckhead Theatre to the Masquerade Music Park. More tickets are now on sale via the M83 Ticket Store. I Break Horses will be supporting.

Due to overwhelming demand, the M83 show in Chicago on May 04th has been moved to The Riviera. Additional tickets go on sale Saturday January 21st, 10am here. There will be a limit of 2 tickets per person.

M83 are confirmed to play two massive festivals this year including Coachella and Ultra Music Festival, plus a special show in New York City’s Central Park on August 8th during the 2012 NY Summerstage Season.

Coachella’s 2012 lineup was officially announced last week with M83 landing near the top of bill. You can catch M83 on both Friday April 13th and April 20th, the first days of the double-weekend 3-day festival, which has introduced a second festival weekend for the first time.

M83 will also play Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year on Saturday March 24th.

M83 has added a second show in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 Club on May 12th. And due to high demand, the venue for Chicago’s show on May 4th is being moved from The Vic to The Riviera, a larger space. Tickets for Washington D.C, Chicago and the Summerstage show in NYC are now on sale exclusively through the M83 website here.

“eMusic has created a series of short films to give you better insight into our favorite albums. We begin by taking a look at M83′s latest release, “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming”, which references the vivid dreams M83 front man Anthony Gonzalez has experienced throughout his life.

M83 is excited to announce that Active Child will support the band throughout the fall US tour dates which start in Washington D.C on October 28th. A late show has been added to Seattle and the venue in Orlando has changed to The Beacham Theatre. The fall tour dates will be M83’s first live shows in over two years.
